Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Consulting Services for Climate Change Risk & Vulnerability Assessment

The Ministry of Water now invites eligible consulting firms or association of consultants to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: (a) consultant-s relevance to the assignment; (b) number of years in business; (c) relevant experience; (d) dealing with similar project authorities; and (e) regional and local experience.

The consulting services (“the Services”) include undertaking climate change risk and vulnerability assessment, and to develop/analyze GIS-based Mapping for the identification of hotspots that threaten water security; and to generate knowledge products, based on the best available scientific evidence of the impacts of climate change in the project catchment areas (within the Metolong catchment), which straddles both the Maseru and Berea districts. This will use an integrated assessment approach to capture both biophysical and socio-economics changes within the catchment. The assignment is planned for a duration of six (6) months.
