Project Objective:

The Irrigation Program North Macedonia concerns the rehabilitation and extension of up to 4 irrigation schemes (Straishte, HS Lisiche, Konsko and Pepelishte) in the Vardar River Basin. The purpose of the Program is the sustainable increase of the agricultural output (production and productivity) in selected irrigation schemes by improved availability and efficient use of water resources. This is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of the agricultural population in the Southern Vardar River Basin.

Requested Services:

The services requested are the preparation of feasibility studies for the irrigation schemes Konsko and Pepelishte including environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) according to KfW-s ESIA Guidelines - planned to be carried out in 2020.
