Tenders are invited for Consultation to support the extension of the 2017-2019 Education Action Plan for another year in Djibouti.

1 . Context

The Republic of Djibouti has developed and implemented an ambitious 10-year program (2010-2019) for the development of the education sector.

The main objectives of this program are:

· The development of pre-school education with special attention to children from disadvantaged backgrounds and rural areas,

· Achieving the target of 100% primary school enrollment in 2015 and 90% gross enrollment ratio for 11-14 year olds in 2019,

5. Calendar of activities

More specifically, the consultant will assume the following tasks:

· Simplified Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) expanded to 2020

6. Supervision

The consultant will be recruited by UNICEF, who will draw up his contract and will be put at the disposal of the Ministry of National Education.
