Expression of Interest are invited for Consultant Services for the Recruitment of an Ngo to Raise Awareness Riveran Populations in the Chadian Party.

1- The Government of the Republic of Cameroon and Chad have obtained funding from the African Development Bank Group (ADB) to partially cover the cost of the Logone Bridge Construction Project between Yagoua (Cameroon) and Bongor (Chad) and related developments and intends to use a portion of the proceeds of this loan to finance the service contract related to sensitization of local populations to STI / HIV / AIDS, malaria, road safety, environmental protection and axle load compliance, in the Chadian part, which is the subject of this call for expression of interest.

2- The services provided under this contract include:

• the training of the facilitators of sensitization sessions for local residents on road works;

• sensitization of these people to the fight against HIV / AIDS, STIs / STDs, and malaria;

• public awareness of road safety and compliance with the Highway Code;

• awareness of the protection of the environment;

• Awareness of respect for the axle load.

3- The Minister of Public Works of the Republic of Cameroon, on behalf of the two States, invites the NGOs to submit their application to provide the services described above. The interested parties must produce information on their abilities and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, reference of similar services, experience in comparable missions, availability of qualified personnel, etc.). Consultants can join a group to increase their chances of qualification.

4- The eligibility criteria, the establishment of the shortlist and the selection process will be consistent with " the operational procurement policy financed by the Group of the African Development Bank, " October 2015 edition of which is available on the Bank's website at http://www.afdb.org.

6- Expressions of interest must be filed under a sealed envelope in five (05) copies of which one

§ Chad : the Project Monitoring and Coordination Unit (CSCP) of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Disengagement in N'djamena;

no later than 22 April 2019 at 3 pm local time.

Integrative regional road project in the LAC Chad Basin.

Construction of the Logone bridge between Yagoua (Cameroon) and Bongor (Chad) and railways
