ELECTRIFICATION PROJECT OF PERI-URBAN AREAS OF OUAGADOUGOU AND BOBO DIOULASSO (PEPU)

1. The Government of Burkina Faso has received funding from the African Development Fund (ADF) to cover the cost of the Ouagadougou and Bobo Dioulasso Peri-Urban Areas Electrification Project (PEPU), and intends to use part of the sums granted under this grant to finance the consultant services contract for carrying out the audit of the financial statements of the said Project.

2. The services provided under this contract include the audit of the Financial Statements for the years 2020 and 2021 of the Project. The purpose of this audit is to enable the auditor to express an independent professional opinion on the financial situation of the project as of December 31, 2020 and 2021, and to ensure that the resources made available to the project are used for the purposes for which they were granted. The audit will be conducted in accordance with international standards and will include the tests and audit procedures that the auditor considers necessary in the circumstances, in accordance with the terms of reference.

3. The National Electricity Company of Burkina (SONABEL) acting as executing agency of the Project, invites the Consultants to submit their application to provide the services described above. Interested consultants must provide information on their ability and experience demonstrating that they are qualified for the services (documentation, number of similar service references performed satisfactorily over the past eight (8) years, availability of qualified personnel.) Consultants can partner to increase their chances of qualification. The interest expressed by a firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the donee to keep him on the short list.
