Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Design Review and Supervision of Construction of off-Farm Irrigation Infrastructure and Facilities for Small Scale Irrigation Schemes in Northern, Central, Western and Eastern Regions

The services to be provided under this consultancy will include: (i) review of designs to ensure correctness, completeness and compliance with nationally and internationally acceptable standards and update where necessary; (ii) supervision of the Off-farm irrigation infrastructure contracts to ensure that the works comply with the technical designs, drawings, specifications, conditions of contract, quality assurance standards and sound engineering practice; (iii) preparation of final construction report, design modifications, as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals of all completed works; (iv) supervision of the defects liability monitoring period and (v) preparation of the project completion report (PCR). The Off-farm irrigation infrastructure works will comprise irrigation water abstraction and storage infrastructure, solar powered pumping systems, and irrigation transmission and distribution networks or pipelines.
