KINSHASA/NGALIEMAThe Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the African Development Fund towards the cost of the Institutional Support for the Enhancement of Public Financial Management Project (ISEP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for Evaluation of Professional Procurement Training Program in Lesotho. The main purpose of this assignment is to undertake a thorough evaluation of the professional procurement training programme offered by Institute for Development Management - Lesotho to determine the extent of its contribution towards improvement of public sector procurement practises over the years (return on investment); its relevance to current PFM context, and lessons learned and prospects of continued programme support versus alternative professional training program and capacity development models for improving procurement staff performance. The duration of the assignment is 40 nonconsecutive working days over a period of 4 months.
The government of the Kingdom of Lesotho through the Ministry of Finance now invites eligible individual Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information (CVs) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services including, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants” May 2008 Edition, revised July 2012, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afbd.og.
