A. Background of Financing Agency (BftW)

Bread for the World (BftW) is an international development agency owned by the Protestant Churches in Germany based in Berlin. One of its regional offices is located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, registered as an international NGO with the Agency of Civil Society Organizations, registration number 1295. BftW works through a great variety of faith based and secular civil society partners around the world whom they share similar values. The Horn of Africa Regional Office (RO) works with partners in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, South Sudan and Sudan. The main thematic areas of BftW are: (1) food security and agriculture, (2) rural development, (3) essential resources/ecological dimension of sustainable development, (4) civil society support, (5) basic social services and (6) conflict management and peace building.
BftW would like to invite interested audit or financial consultancy firms for pre-funding assessments of the following of its partner.

i) Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA Sudan)

ADRA Sudan - Head Office (Khartoum, Sudan)

· Blue Nile Project Office

· ADRA-s local implementing partner organization(s) for the Blue Nile project
Minimum Qualifications:

Ø Language skills: English for reporting and proficiency in Arabic is required

Ø Renewed Business license (as Financial Consultancy or Audit Firm)

Ø Professional license (as Financial Consultancy or Audit Firm)

Ø Registered Chartered Accountants

Ø Tax Identification/Tax Payer Certificate

Ø Value Added Tax (VAT) Certificate (if any)

Ø Experience in auditing and financial consultancy of NGOs (Local and International)
