The International Bureau for Children's RightsThe International Bureau for Children's Rights (the IBCR or the Bureau) has been working for children's rights for more than 25 years in more than twenty countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. Through a participatory and sustainable approach, we work with our partners in the field to promote and protect the rights of children, whether they are in contact with the justice system or faced with a humanitarian crisis situation, caused by armed conflict or natural disaster. We are also careful to prevent all forms of exploitation, violence, abuse and neglect of children, particularly for sexual purposes. Listening, participation and child protection are at the heart of all our actions. The Office is based in Montreal and operates in more than 15 countries on three continents, for over 25 years. 1.2. Project details The project "Empowerment of girls and frontline actors against sexual and gender-based violence" is implemented in Senegal from November 2020 to December 2024. This project aims to strengthen the protection system of the child, particularly in their ability to adapt and act appropriately in the face of sexual or gender-based violence against children.

As part of this project, the IBCR is organizing several consultation and tool development workshops with professionals from the child protection system in Senegal. The IBCR thus wishes to recruit two (2) consultants to take notes and report on these workshops, on the basis of a service contract for a maximum possible of 80 days spread over one year*. The consultancy will take place in Dakar between July 2022 and March 2023.

* The number of consultancy days may be less than 80 days spread over a year.

The deliverables expected during the duration of the consultancy are the following: a. Taking noteThe bidder must, prior to the workshops and activities, read the terms of reference to have a better understanding of the activity. During the activity, the tenderer must take detailed, specific and organized notes of all the interventions and exchanges. The tenderer must submit the note taking of each activity on the closing day of the workshop. b. Reporting

The tenderer, based on the notes during the workshop and the results of the group work resulting from the workshop, must write a summary report based on the results, then submit this report within 3 days of the activity.
