Country: Description of the Assignment: The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) is a statutory body established under the Medicines and Allied Substances Control Act (MASCA) [Chapter 15.03]. It is responsible for ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of medicines and allied substancesin Zimbabwe. Among its core functions is the inspection and regulation of pharmacies to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards. Pharmacy inspections are essential to maintaining public health, ensuring that medicines are stored, dispensed, and managed correctly. MCAZ seeksthe services of a qualified consultant to develop and implement inspection protocols, tools, and training to strengthen its pharmacy inspection processes and ensure adherence to WHO and local standards. This increases transparency and availability of medical information in line with the best standardsfor WHO global benchmarking tool (GBT) Maturity Level 3 and 4. Period of assignment/services ( 75 days) Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal.
