The construction project includes the construction of a new 5-class primary school in the eastern part of the property and a two-stage sports hall in the western part. The planned school building is a two-story wooden building without a basement, with sloping roofs above four learning houses and a middle section with a flat roof. The foundation is carried out using individual and strip foundations. The sports hall is arranged at ground level, has a flat roof, no basement and is founded with a floor slab. It is the client's goal to have the property certified in planning, development and execution according to DGNB (building certification of the German Sustainable Building Council) and QNG (quality seal for sustainable buildings). The aim is to obtain the “DGNB Silver” certificate and to receive federal funding. The work on lightning protection and foundation earthing is advertised here. Both buildings will have a Class III lightning protection system in accordance with VDE 0185-305. The classification into lightning protection class III is carried out according to VdS 2010 as a “publicly accessible building with public access”. A foundation earth electrode is provided for the school building and the sports hall, consisting of a functional potential equalization conductor made of galvanized strip iron 30 x 3.5 mm in the floor plates and a ring earth made of V4A round steel under the base plates and connected to each other. Connection flags for down conductors are provided at intervals of approx. 20 m. Connection lugs for potential equalization are provided in all technical rooms on the ground floor. The Down conductors are made of 8 mm round steel. The connection is routed above the roof. At the base point, the down conductor is connected to the foundation earth, while the connection to the roof is implemented via a connection in the parapet area.
