Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Construction of Water Supply Infrastructure for Butha Buthe and Hlotse.
The Employer now invites sealed bids (“Bids”) from eligible and qualified entities or persons (“Bidders”) to provide the works referenced above (the “Works”).

The Scope of work includes:

Lot 1 - Butha Buthe Water Treatment Works

• The construction of a

a. 13 Ml/d WTW

b. River abstraction works

c. Raw Water Pump Station (RWPS) and rising main

d. Highlift Pump Station (HLPS)

e. The mechanical and electrical works associated with the above.

Lot 2 - Butha Buthe Bulk Reticulation Infrastructure

• The construction of three (3) reservoirs

f. Command Reservoir at Ha Majara – 10 000 m3 (Post tensioned, domed roof construction)

g. Ha Chepeseli Reservoir – 1500 m3

h. Mabuthile Reservoir – 650 m3

• The construction of Booster Pump station 3 (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical)

• The construction of approximately 25 km of bulk reticulation pipe work with associated valves and chambers.

Lot 3 - Butha ButheLocal Reticulation Networks

• The construction of reticulation networks (non-bulk) of approximately 35km long.

• Pipe diameters range from 63mm to 250mm.

Lot 4 - Hlotse Water Treatment Works

• The construction of a

a. 10.5 Ml/d WTW

b. River abstraction

c. Raw Water Pump Station (RWPS) and rising main

d. Highlift Pump Station (HLPS)

e. The mechanical and electrical works associated with the above.

Lot 5 - HlotseBulk Reticulation Infrastructure

• The construction of two (2) reservoirs

a. Reservoir L – 3000 m3

b. Reservoir H – 200 m3

• The construction of pump station at Reservoir L (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical)
• The construction of approximately 5 km of bulk reticulation pipe work with associated valves and chambers.
Lot 6 - Hlotse Reticulation Networks

• The construction of reticulation networks (non-bulk) of approximately 21km long.

• Pipe diameters range from 63mm to 250mm.

More details on the requirements are provided in the Bill of Quantities, Specifications and Performance Requirements, and Drawings.
A contractor will be selected under a Competitive Bidding (CB) process, using a Single Stage approach (without Prequalification of Bidders). The application of domestic preferences shall not apply to this tender.
