MVV Grünewärme GmbH (subsidiary of MVV Energie AG) (MVV) is planning to build and operate a river water heat pump system (WPA2) with a heating output of up to 165 at the site of Grosskraftwerk Mannheim AG (GKM) in Mannheim-Neckarau MWth. The scope of delivery includes the planning, construction and complete technical equipment of a new transformer building for two 110 kV transformers of the WPA2 heat pump system. This includes civil and structural engineering work including deep foundations, Collection trays with oil separator system, transformer boxes, lighting as well as the laying of cable protection pipes and their connection to existing infrastructure. Another component is the installation of a water spray extinguishing system including system technology in a container including foundations and utility interfaces. The contractor undertakes all necessary planning, manufacturing, construction, assembly, testing and commissioning services as well as the coordination of subcontractors and the organization of the VdS approvals.
