The Republic of Liberia has received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB), toward the cost of the MRU Road Development and Transport Facilitation Programme Phase II. The Government intends to apply part of the approved amount of this financing to payments under the contract for Consultancy for the following Road Works – Pavement of the Fish Town - Kelipo Highway (20 km). The works will consist of paving, realignment, provision of safety features and improvement of drainage system.
The services being sought in this procurement comprise of Supervision Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision Services. The Executing Agency/Employer is the Ministry of Public Works (MPW).
The Ministry of Public Works now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (i) information detailing the company’s existence and areas of expertise (ii) list of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, (iii) list of overall permanent and temporary staff in fields related to the assignment (iv) evidence of past performance (v) any other relevant information. Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations” (BPM), dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. The MPW is under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest.
