Lead construction supervision IO STE / BÜW I / BÜB KIB / BIM coordinator BÜW Construction supervision, surveying BÜW Geotechnics & Waste SiGeKo BÜW Environment The construction project to be monitored is the new construction of the Rudersdorf Tunnel (project abbreviation: RUT) on the section 2800 Hagen Hbf - Haiger between km 117.630 and km 120.282. The existing Rudersdorf Tunnel, which dates back to 1915, does not meet today's requirements in terms of cross-sectional geometry (track distance is currently only approx. 3.5 m). two-track operation. The tunnel also shows significant damage, particularly to the masonry. It is planned to replace the tunnel with two single-track, electrified tunnel tubes. The two tunnel tubes are almost 30 m apart each other and are located 70 m southwest of the existing Rudersdorf Tunnel. The replacement of the tunnel structure requires a change to the route. This creates new pre-cut areas on both portals with appropriate New embankment formation necessary. The existing tunnel will be filled with excavated material after the new building is put into operation. The project is currently in performance phase 6/7. Construction for the main construction work is scheduled to begin in the first half of the year 2027. Commissioning is scheduled for the timetable change in 2032.
