The Schwerte crossing structure (KrBw) is located between Westhofen train station and Schwerte train station. The KrBw is transferring route 2550 over route 2841. At the Schwerte crossing structure, the abutments have been renewed as permanent structures in recent years. There are currently on the new abutments Two auxiliary bridges are in operation, which serve as an interim solution. The auxiliary bridges must be expanded again. For this purpose, new superstructures are installed as permanent structures. The superstructures are planned as trough bridges with thick sheet metal (thick plate bridges). A single-span girder is selected for each track Steel made. The span is approximately 26.1 m each.
