Construction-related engineering services (local construction supervision and associated special services) as part of the renovation of the Shaft 1 dump in 08349 Johanngeorgenstadt Provision of engineering services accompanying construction, “special services” within the meaning of HOAI 2021 in the service profile of engineering structures as well as other “special services” in service phase 8 At the Johanngeorgenstadt site, uranium ore mining has caused extensive mining legacy, which has an environmental impact, Restrictions on the subsequent use of the areas are caused and municipal development is hindered. The Shaft 1 dump is one of these legacies. The dump shaft 1 was registered under the GRS number 6178 Contaminated site register of the Federal Office for Radiation Protection recorded. The dump has a contact area of approx. 0.85 ha and a volume of approx. 50, 000 m³. The dump was partially profiled in the 1970s. The tunnel excavated by SAG Wismut in 1947 Shaft 1 is now part of the “Glöckl” visitor mine. The plateau area of the Shaft 1 dump is actively used as a garden or leisure property. The condition of the dump itself and its use pose health risks the users or residents due to: local areas of ore contamination, particularly in the upper section of the eastern slope, lack of stability of the embankments, especially in the transition to the Breitenbach.
