Construction project Brüderstraße 17/18, Markt 1 in Angermünde - Lot 03 demolition work The city of Angermünde intends to convert the listed ensemble Brüderstraße 17/18 and the adjacent property at Markt 1 into a municipal administrative and administrative building Service building with city library, city archive, community hall and city administration rooms are to be reused and structurally rearranged. The aim is a functionally coherent building complex with common development, barrier-free accessibility and shared additional areas. The building ensemble consists of several building sections. Components 1-3 (Brüderstrasse 18) have a largely uniform street facade and a continuous roof. The corner building (component 1) was rebuilt after a fire in 1855 as a restaurant, business and residential building and was expanded to include a partial building of the courtyard (component 2) and a new hall (component 3). The central building (component 2) is except for its street facade gutted and rebuilt as a new, barrier-free main entrance. The adjacent existing building at Brüderstraße 17 (component 4) is a two-story solid building.
