The project will increase the capacity of the network transmission high voltage to the Dakar region of 370MW in 2015 to 690 MW by 2019.

The proposed project includes:
Lot 1 Project of construction of underground line HTB 225 kV and positions related between Konoune and Patte Doie under an EPC contract.
Including:
Line ob: the construction of a line HTB 225 Kv underground between positions
Konoune and Patte Doie on 22 kms.
Positions ob:
Konoune: the extension of the 225 Kv GIS substation
Patte Doie: the extension of the GIS 90 kV Patte Doie on twospan position
and construction of 4 spans 225 Kv to 2 75 MVA transformers and
2 arrivals 225KV
