INVITATION TO BID
Project: Construction of Guest Houses for Mogadishu ACC Staff, Phase 2 Ref No. SCAA/2019/11/13-01
Somali Civil Aviation Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the above-mentioned guest house building construction.
If you are interested in submitting a Bid in response to this invitation to bid, please prepare your Bid in accordance with the requirements and procedure as set out in this invitation to bid (ITB) and submit it by the deadline for submission of bids set out in the bid data Sheet. Bids will be conducted through International Competitive Procurement (ICB).
All Bids must be accompanied by a “BID SECURITY DECLARATION” valid for two years using the form provided in section 6 of the ITB.
A pre-bid meeting shall be conducted by SCAA Academy on 01st D, December 2019 @ 10:00 AM (Local
time) in the main conference hall at the 01st floor of the SCAA academy at Aden Abdulle International Airport, Waberi district, Mogadishu. Prospective bidders who are not in Mogadishu are encouraged to contact this e-mail Dahir.raghe@scaa.gov.so, cc’s Bulshale.fahie@scaa.gov.so, in order to receive minutes of the pre-bid meeting and /or any clarifications from potential bidders regarding the contract.
Bids submitted shall remain valid for a period of 90-days after the deadline submission of bids in accordance with ITB 16 in the Bid Data Sheet (BDS). The time allowed for the completion of the construction works is within 6 Calendar months (180-days) from the contract signing date.
Bidding documents should be delivered in person to the address below by 15tt December 2019 at 10:00 am (Local Time). Late Bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 10:00 am East Africa time, on 15th of January 2020.
Number of copies of bids to be completed and returned shall be one (1) original and three (3) copies. All Bids must be sealed an envelope marked “Bid reference No-: SCAA/2019/11/13-01-ITB indicating ‘original’ or ‘copy’ and must be delivered to the address Bulshale Fahie (Bulshale.fahie@scaa.gov.so)below by 15tt December 2019 at 10:00 am (Local Time).
