SWE Energie GmbH is a company that is subject to the KRITIS regulation. At the HKW Erfurt Ost location, SWE Energie GmbH operates a cogeneration plant, which essentially consists of the following system parts: Combined cycle plant with three Waste heat boiler systems (Line 1, Line 2 and Line 3), hot water generator, heat storage, power-to-heat system Due to changing political and market conditions (decarbonization), SWE Energie GmbH intends to increase its activities in the future renewable energies and plans to expand the existing thermal power plant with various renewable energy systems in accordance with its own transformation plan.
