The TU Ilmenau intends the development of a structured tutor collected tutorial college. This is supposed to systematically bundle the previously decentralized tutor structures in a common college, organize didactically and in terms of content, and the work of the tutors through a Certificate the certificate visibly. High -semester students are encouraged in the college to commit to tutors and pass on their experiences to new students and fellow students. The aim is to look after all students - both national and international origin -to improve along the entire student life cycle through a peer-to-peer approach. A special focus is on the study entrance phase in the first semester. In addition, the college should have the success of the study as well as the socio-cultural personality or competence formation of the students support financially. Through this commission, TU Ilmenau would like to create a conceptual framework that forms the basis for a professionalized and sustainable qualification program for student tutors - including the creation of didactic modules, a certificate structure and Implementation strategy with test phase.
