The project involves an existing school building, which will be completely gutted and a new extension will be added. The existing building has a partial basement and consists of 4 floors (basement to 2nd floor) with a flat roof. The new building will not have a basementand begins with the floor slab on the ground floor. It consists of the ground floor and second floor and also has a flat roof. There is a photovoltaic system on the roof and several ventilation devices and other components are positioned.
The school will have a drinking water installation (KW, WW, circulation) made of stainless steell with rinsing stations to maintain drinking water hygiene. The waste water downpipes and collecting pipes are made of cast iron, the connecting pipes are made of sound-insulated PP pipe. The roof drainage uses a vacuum system.
The hot water is heated centrally using a fresh water station an the on-site district heating station.
