Context and brief history of IRC in Burundi:Based in Bujumbura with provincial branches in MUYINGA, RUYIGI and GITEGA; IRC BURUNDI is one of the largest NGOs in Burundi. Its objective is to provide emergency aid, post-conflict development and reintegration services, to work for the protection of human rights and to defend uprooted people. The IRC opened its office in Burundi in 1996, responding to the urgent needs of displaced people, with a focus on water sanitation, environmental health programs, protection of vulnerable women and children. THE INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE - BURUNDI PROGRAM (IRC BURUNDI) LAUNCHES A CALL FOR TENDERS FOR THE SELECTION OF CONTRACTUAL SUPPLIERS OF GOODS AND MATERIALS FOR THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

2. DOMESTIC AND CLEANING MATERIALS
3. CLOTHING, TExTILES AND THREADS

NB: Lots (categories) are strictly independent of each other. At the end of the process, the winning suppliers could sign a framework purchase agreement at fixed prices which extends over a period of 1 to 2 years.
Interested suppliers meeting the required tax, legal, technical and financial conditions are invited to compete.
The place of delivery of goods and materials for potential IRC suppliers is BUJUMBURA MAIRIE. Nevertheless ; companies, establishments and entities with representative agencies within the country and with full capacity to deliver directly to IRC BURUNDI field sites located in MUYINGA, RUYIGI and GITEGA are strongly encouraged to submit their offers.
The file including the detailed technical specifications can be collected from the IRC BURUNDI Office located at Boulevard de la Nation, Avenue Bunogera N°07 (Airport road), from Thursday February 24 to Friday March 11, 2022 during working days; from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.
Tenders written in French must be submitted to the address indicated above no later than Friday March 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
