Tender Details

The subject of the tender is the construction of tram operating facilities in the state capital Mainz at Muensterplatz from the existing route of tram lines 50, 52 and 53, starting through Binger Strasse and ending at Alicenplatz and on the Alicenbruecke with the AConnection to the existing route of lines 51 and 59. The route represents a bypass to the local transport hub at the station forecourt in the state capital Mainz. A stop will be built at the Muensterplatz junction. The contact line systems are attached via wall anchors. contact line mBrackets are only provided where fastening using wall anchors is actually not possible. The length of the route is 380 meters.
In detail, these are the following essential works:
- Dismantling of existing traffic areas (roads, sidewalks and cycle paths as well as other areas)
- Dismantling dthe existing track systems and the adjacent surfaces
- dismantling of existing road equipment
- production and adaptation of supply and disposal lines
- creation of the empty pipe infrastructure for the transport company (MVG), the Mainz municipal utilities (Mainzer Netze) and the city administration of Mainz
- Creation of the track and road drainage
