Lot 1 includes the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of thermal cameras for counting and classifying and, in some cases, determining vehicle speeds. Lot 2 includes planning, installation and operation as well as the Maintenance of Bluetooth Classic sensors to determine recognition features. City-wide measurement network for traffic data collection The city of Mannheim is participating in the nationwide model project “Smart Cities” with the “sMArt roots” project Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction (BMWSB). The aim of the funding program is to develop and test cross-sector digital strategies for city life of the future. The “sMArt roots” project aims to create an agile Development of Mannheim's Smart City strategy can be ensured.
