Expression of Interest are invited for Carry out its Business According to Sound Commercial Principles and in Accordance with the Banking Act of 1995.

Botswana Savings Bank (BSB) Botswana Savings Bank (BSB) is an autonomous financial institution established by an Act of Parliament in 1992 with a specific mandate of mobilizing the nation to save as well as providing inclusive financial services. The Bank is governed by an Independent Board of Directors which reports to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and is supervised by the Central Bank. BSB is required to carry out its business according to sound commercial principles and in accordance with the Banking Act of 1995.

The Bank is a member of the World Savings Bank Institute - an association of Savings Banks represented in over 90 countries worldwide. To date, the bank is the largest State-owned deposit taking bank in Botswana with assets worth BWP3.1 billion.

BSB fulfils its mandate by the provision of savings products; debt financing, in the form of personal loans, mortgages and vehicle financing.
