Cardiotechnical services The subject of the tender is the provision of cardiotechnical services including the provision of personnel, equipment and consumables for the Frankfurt University Medical Center (Clinic for Cardiac and Thoracic Medicine). Vascular surgery, anesthesia clinic and cardiology/internal medicine clinic, cardiac catheter laboratory). The scope of services includes approximately 1, 200 operations annually in two to three operating theaters with HLM operation, approximately 300 procedures as standby (mainly OPCAB), approx. 150 temporary cardiac supports (ECMO/ECLS), approx. 10-20 artificial heart implantations, approx. 5 IABP and approx. 3-3.5 days standby for transapical and transfemoral valve implantations (TAVI). The contractor is responsible for the comprehensive provision of all to provide qualified specialist personnel (at least five full-time cardiotechnicians) for cardiotechnical services. The service provision includes permanent availability in regular and on-call service, including core hours from Monday to Friday Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. as well as call service hours on weekends and public holidays.
