Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to support the Government of Mozambique, through the National Directorate of Forests (DNFFB), in developing a new Forest Outgrow Regulation. The consultant will design and develop a regulatory framework for forestry Outgrow for Mozambique forestry sector. The role includes identifying and reviewing the relevant forestry legislations and technical instruments, coordinating participatory consultations with stakeholders, drafting and finalising the forestry Outgrow regulations. The work will be carried out over 6 months, in close collaboration with DNFFB, the Commission for the Revision of the Forest Law and Regulation (CRLFR), and ILO-s MozTrabalha team in Maputo, with technical coordination from FAO. Outputs must align with decent work principles and promote sustainable, inclusive forest governance.
