Bw 102, new replacement Vorpommern Bridge and reconstruction of L 22 The civil engineering department of the Hanseatic and university city of Rostock is planning to build a replacement for the Vorpommernbrücke (BW 102) on the L 22 over the Warnow. The result of a feasibility study was a preferred variant developed, which defines a Warnow crossing consisting of 2 sub-structures. In this context, the traffic facilities on the structure itself as well as the sections of the route on both sides up to the west and east junctions must be planned and renewed. Both 2 vehicle lanes into the city and 2 vehicle lanes out of the city as well as pedestrian and cycle paths on both sides must be taken into account. The planned planning of the measure is essentially divided thematically into 3 parts: 1. the planning of a new partial structure north (possibly plus moor bridges north) with the corresponding traffic connections to the neighboring nodes, 2. the planning of the demolition of the existing structures (Western Pomerania Bridge, moor bridges, traffic signal bridge), 3. the planning of a new south substructure (possibly plus moor bridges south) including the planning of a traffic signal bridge with the corresponding traffic connections to the neighboring junctions.
