The 2024 implementation competition for planning services for property planning of buildings and open spaces included new buildings, especially for engineering and social sciences, as well as central facilities with a net floor space of 8, 106m² (NUF 1-6). The aim was to further develop the existing university campus and the planned new buildings into a coherent campus. The competition design envisages four separate buildings: a lecture hall building, a cafeteria and a daycare center (Kita) and an institute building, each of which has flat roofs. In the design, the approximately 300 required parking spaces were accommodated in two separate underground car parks (lecture hall and institute building).
