North 2nd BA - VE501 construction site equipment Kölner Verkehrs-betriebe AG is modernizing it Bus depot north in the 2nd construction phase fundamentally in order to to enable complete electrification of the fleet by 2030. The core is adaptation of the storage concept: will take place in the future bus parking in parking blocks with steel traverses for loading hoods. The charging infrastructure will be in one bundled on a raised technology bar. The traffic areas as well as surface drainage overall renewed. The wash hall will be used by electric buses completely renovated and provided with a working pit. In addition, the workshop will have seven work stands expanded and the transport service building was renovated to make it more energy efficient around expanded into a two-story extension. The existing one Spare parts warehouse is being modernized and with a new one Equipment provided. All measures are implemented under Maintaining bus and workshop operations.
