Delivery, assembly and commissioning of a battery storage system (BESS II Harrislee) The subject of this project is the construction and operation of a grid-connected stand-alone battery storage system (BESS) with an electrical connected load of 70 MW and a usable storage capacity of 140 MWh on the customer's premises. The storage system is to be connected to the customer's own 60 kV medium-voltage network via a medium-voltage transformer and is used to participate in the Arbitrage trading. The battery storage facility is located on a green meadow owned by STADTWERKE FLENSBURG GMBH (SWFL). The system is designed to be a containerized or modular storage solution from battery systems, inverter units, transformer technology, protection and control technology as well as the necessary auxiliary systems. The storage capacity is to be used to participate in energy trading. In particular, the marketing of Flexibilities via short-term electricity markets to generate revenue from price spreads and market-related arbitrage potential. In addition, the battery storage system should be used to provide secondary control power (aFRR) and thus generate additional revenue from participation in the balancing energy market.
