Basic repair of tunnel slaughterhouse area A(005) and retaining wall Laeiszstrasse A(006) - object planning engineering structure and structural planning [ba] HOCHBAHN intends to award the necessary planning services in stages. At building A (005) - The Schlachthofgelände tunnel is an operating tunnel on the U3 line (A route) between the Sternschanze (SZ) and Feldstraße (FE) stops. Structure A (006) - Laeiszstrasse retaining wall is located between the Feldstrasse stop and the tunnel portal of the aforementioned structure A (005) in the open section of the U3 line. Both buildings are located between the Hamburg districts of Altona (Sternschanze district) and Mitte (Karolinenviertel district). The tunnel requiring repair, slaughterhouse site, structure A (005), was built in 1912 and is approx. 495 m long. The Sternschanze (SZ) stop is to the north. There is a portal girder at the southern mouth of the tunnel, which also needs to be replaced. The northern tunnel section (length approx. 110 m) below the parking lot and Lagerstrasse is being renovated as part of the Sternschanze (SZ) stop renovation, so that only the major damage is to be repaired as part of this measure. On the southern tunnel section below the Extensive basic repairs are to be carried out on the slaughterhouse site (length approx. 385 m) so that the tunnel can be used for at least 30 more years.
