B6/B494 Replacement building BW 5403 The B 6 runs in the northeastern urban area of Hildesheim-Drispenstedt over an approximately 220 m long bridge structure, structure 5403, which spans a DB railway line, the Kennedydamm (B 494) and Heinrichstrasse. The B6 connects the Hildesheim harbor in Hildesheim in the north of the city with junction 62 - Hildesheim of the BAB A7 in the west. The BW 5403 has serious defects and needs to be replaced. As the new structure is constructed, the bridge cross-section will change accordingly adapted to the current guidelines.
