Tender Details

The measure will repair the outer window levels of the windows on the west side of the museum buildings. There are various types of windows (single windows with single glazing, box windows and single windows with insulating glazing). The Some windows have severely damaged/no longer functional coatings as well as caulking and damage caused by wood-destroying fungi. At least one overhaul coating is carried out on all windows. Processing limit is the Inside of the frame. Window sills or frames of box windows adjoining the inside are not refinished. The window sashes are to be removed and reworked in the workshop. The windows will be repaired in two sections, with the repair/coating of the frames being carried out completely in the first section. To work on the frames on the 2nd and 3rd floors, a façade scaffolding was installed by a third-party contractor. (Through the Due to the different terrain heights of the building complex, the windows on the 1st floor on the west side can be reached almost at ground level. Due to lead in the color coatings of the windows, dust protection measures are required for the refurbishment of the frames to carry out the interiors. Furthermore, a weather seal and burglary protection for the window openings is required while the window sashes and the frames are being processed in the workshop.
