The Government of the Republic of Cote d`Ivoire has requested and obtained from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), funding equivalent to US $ 12, 500, 000 (US $)to finance part of the BID-UEMOA Rural Hydraulic and Sanitation Project, and proposes to use the funds to pay for the works, consultancy services, supplies and goods to be acquired under the program. this project. 1. The project includes the components(a) Rural water infrastructure construction works including works for economic growth poles: International Call for Tenders restricted to IDB member countries. (b) Rural sanitation infrastructure construction works: National calls for tenderional. c) Equipment of the Project Management Unit: consultation of local suppliers. d) Consulting services for the preliminary geophysical prospecting campaign, preparation of the detailed preliminary projects and technical specifications of each module, finalization of the documentstender ; assistance to the project executing agency during the procurement process; supervision of works; support for communities to strengthen their capacity in the management, operation and maintenance of new built systems: Listlimited number of research firms from IDB member countries. e) Social intermediation activities: Short list of local non-governmental organizations. f) Recruitment of a financial auditor: Short list of local firms or individual experts. 2. The markets finances by the IDB will be conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Markets financed by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition) and are open to all candidates who meet the conditions stipulated in the Guidelines. The consultantswill be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants in Projects Financed by the Islamic Development Bank (May 2009 edition). 3.
