Aurich-Haxtum sewage treatment plant: Construction of Digestion II - facade construction Construction description The content of the tender is the new construction of the digester at the Aurich Haxtum sewage treatment plant. The Aurich-Haxtum sewage treatment plant cleans the wastewater from the city of Aurich and the surrounding towns. In addition to the predominantly municipal wastewater, the Aurich sewage treatment plant also treats dairy wastewater from the local Rücker dairy. The current incoming freight is around 68, 500 EWCSB. To stabilize and reduce the A sludge digestion plant has been in operation at the sewage treatment plant since 1963 to remove the primary sludge from wastewater treatment. Despite ongoing optimizations and renovations, sludge digestion has its performance limits due to increased inflow loads reached. The existing digester capacity is only sufficient to a limited extent for the primary sludge and the flotate sludge resulting from the pretreatment of the dairy wastewater. The digestion process is overloaded at times and leads to difficult operating states. There are currently no reserve capacities available for revisions and maintenance work on the digester (approx. 60 years old).
