Expression of Interest are invited for Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Training Services Portucel Mozfip. Training services for sustainable food and economic security for Local Communities. Season 2018/19.
Promotion of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension oriented to the food security and income generation of 5, 000 families living in Portucel Investment Areas where Portucel Mozambique is implementing the Community Development Plan, and 3, 000 families in the areas of benefited by MozFIP in Zambezia. Districts of Ile, Namarroi, Mulevala and Alto Molocue.
In the province of Manica 1500 households in the districts districts of Barue, Gondola, Sussundenga and Manica.
The roll out of these activities, will be based on a network of technical assistance to farmers engaging with beneficiaries and households through a short group of lead farmers. This network will be used to distribute inputs, roll out trainings in agriculture, forestry and natural resource management and trade and income generation activities

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

NOTES
Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
Qualification Criteria
· 1. Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment. Experience in promoting rural extension services in the provinces, with focus in agronomy and trade, with high preference in the districts or similar agriculture systems where the activities will take place. 2.Proven experience in capacity building of groups of producers and rural entrepreneurs linked to trade. *
· 2. Regional knowledge; preference will be given to candidates with recent record of activities and teams active in the districts of Zambezia and Manica Provinces where the activities will be rolled out. Mulevala. Ile, Namarroi, Alto-Molocue, Gondola, Manica, Sussundenga and Barue. *
· 3. Team: The extension project manager must have a higher education degree, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience, within the scope of the activities described above and residing in the areas of projects. The extension network manager must have, at least, 10 years of experience in similar tasks and geographies of the projects.Extension officers should have a medium school diploma, preferably in the area of agrarian sciences, a command of local languages and minimum 4 years in similar tasks *
· 4. Organization: The service provider may be a company or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Consulting Group, registered in the Republic of Mozambique, with a minimum of 10 years experience in rural development and agriculture supply chain in Central and Northern Mozambique. *
