The “RIMDIR” project (BAD pane) aims to electrify 40 localities via the construction of 7 green mini-networks in the regions of Hodh El Chargui and Hodh El Gharbi according to a PPP model which considers a 90% subsidy contribution and 10% contribution of private funds for the realization of infrastructure. In addition, the project includes the development of income -generating activities (AGR) in order to stimulate local demand and accentuate the added value of said project. In order to ensure the proper implementation of the program, the RIMDIR also has technical assistance through assistance with project management (AMO) and capacity building as well as institutional support at UGP.
