The main objective of the project aims to reduce the incidence of food insecurity and food imports in the Democratic Republic of Congo by improving productivity and added value in agricultural value chains of rice, corn, soybeans and cassava, while adopting a preventive approach in the response to the harmful effects of exogenous shocks including climate change and armed conflicts. The PADCV-PTA will play an essential role in the realization of the commitment of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to structurally transform its agriculture.
