This advisory assignment is intended to better coordinate Misereor's pastoral commitment and future support for partner organizations in this area. The following main objectives are pursued: Support the Partner organizations in strengthening their pastoral development capacities and advocacy strategies, particularly with regard to the need to increase pastoralists' resilience to climate change. Financial support a positive understanding of the pastoral economy in line with the Misereor Framework for Engagement in Pastoral Development (PDOF). Supporting Misereor and its partners in promoting a positive understanding of the Pastoralism in view of the United Nations “International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026” and the broader context of political and economic changes in the face of climate change. This consultancy assignment aims to better align Misereor's pastoral engagement and future support for partner organisations in this area.
