With this tender, the Finnish Immigration Service acquires the translation services of confidential documents drawn up by other EU authorities in accordance with the EU Migration and Asylum Agreement (so-called Pact). Secret documents mean texts, which contain confidential information. The Immigration Office will probably process applicants' later applications, for which application documents produced by another member state's authority are needed. According to the procedural regulation the authority must translate documents relevant to the investigation of the application. The requirements of the security agreement must be followed when handling confidential translated documents. The translation work is done at the premises of the Customer's office In Helsinki, Lappeenranta, Oulu, Raisio or Tampere. Translation work is done between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The time of placing each order is agreed upon separately at the time of ordering. The information presented in the tender request of the documents to be translated of quantities are estimates. The customer is therefore not committed to the presented quantities and translations are ordered during the contract period always according to the current need. Possible suppliers of the services are companies offering translation services, regardless of corporate form, others entities and natural persons (for example, a translator working as a private entrepreneur can use a business name if he wishes).
