Tenders are invited for Acquisition of Meteorological Equipment.
1. The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) has received a loan and grants from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Rehabilitation and Resilience Program for Socio-Ecological Systems (PRESIBALT), and intends to allocate part of the proceeds of these financings to the payment of contracts relating to the purchase of hydro-climatic equipment on behalf of PRESIBALT.
2. The Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC), through the Regional Coordination of PRESIBALT, invites through the present International Call for Bids, the bidders admitted to compete to submit their bids under sealed cover, for the acquisition of meteorological equipment., hydrometric and automatic recorders for piezometers divided into TWO (2) following lots :
Lot 1 : ACQUISITION OF METEOROLOGICAL EQUIPMENT composed of rain gauges, weather shelters, heliographs, wind vane anemometers, class A evaporation tanks, automatic display stations, microcomputers, several other instruments and accessories and the training of agents in data recovery and their exploitation;
3. The International Call for Proposals will be conducted in accordance with the "Bank Rules and Procedures for the Procurement of Goods and Works, May 2008 edition, revised July 2012".
4. Bidders interested in competing may obtain additional information and examine or withdraw the Tender Documents at the following addresses:

5. The bidding documents may be purchased by candidates interested in the Regional Coordination of PRESIBALT, located at the LCBC in N'Djamena or in the Presibalt National Coordinations of the member countries, for the payment of an amount non refundable of one hundred thousand (100, 000) Francs CFA. The receipt or the receipt of payment must be attached to the offer.
6. Tenders must be submitted to the following address: Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) - Regional Coordination PRESIBALT- BP 727 - CBLT Headquarters, N'Djamena - Chad no later than 21/01/2019 at 09:00 and be accompanied by a tender guarantee of: 10, 000, 000 Fcfa for lot 1 and 8, 000, 000 Fcfa for lot 2.
