Acquisition of a forest fire-fighting service by helicopter
The service includes: • Fixed forest fire preparedness and response in the period 15 April to 15 August each year • Extended forest fire preparedness and response with an extra helicopter if a situation arises with a high risk of forest fire and/or many forest fires • Assistance in the event of extraordinary events that have resulted or may result in loss of life or damage to health, critical social functions or critical infrastructure, when other national helicopter resources are not sufficient.
