Quality assurance (QA) of externally generated digital copies of original files by an archive service provider for the period July 1, 2026 - July 14, 2029 The accompanying measures for digitalization include: • Coordination with the Scan-DL for creation a processing plan and its logging • Preparatory measures and implementation of the issuance of archive material as well as the receipt of archive material and files including documentation from the digitization of a batch • Control of the Calibration of the scanners with suitable analysis software • Checking the completeness of the accompanying documents (delivery note) • Check the functionality and readability of the supplied hard drive • Checking files and data storage media for malware (virus check) • Checking the correctness of the names of files and directories (storage structure) • Checking the searchability of the Multi Page PDF files • Random check of TXT files (images whose number ends in ..99) • Visual inspection of the Digital copies (PDF) based on the associated archive volume according to a procedure to be agreed with the client based on the quality assurance concept • Transferring the files to the data server • Recording of defects and coordination with them the technical manager of QS. • Implementation of error management towards the digitizer • Provision of files for repositioning • Logging of the quantities of processed inputs/outputs and files for accounting purposes Number: files from the B inventory: stapled files, 200, 000 pages per contract year Files from the data center inventory: thread-stitched files, 250, 000 pages per contract year
