The project aims to demonstrate secure, cross-border digital interactions, aligned with EU standards, including eIDAS 2.0. The work is structured in three phases: Phase 1: Inception and Review - Establish a common understanding, review prior assessments, identify gaps, and prepare a detailed roadmap. This ensures all legal, technical, organizational and institutional preconditions are in place for co-development. Phase 2: Technical Design, Co-Development, and Deployment - This phase focuses on the co-creation, design, and development of the regional prototype for selected cross-border e-services, ensuring interoperability and alignment with EU frameworks such as eIDAS 2.0 and the European Digital Identity Wallet initiative. The contractor will facilitate technical collaboration in developing the prototype and test it under controlled and live conditions. Phase 3: Evaluation, Reporting, and Capacity Building - Capture lessons learned, document technical solutions, and provide training to WB6 institutions. A final evaluation and scalability roadmap will guide replication, extension to additional services, and integration into national digital strategies.
