The project addresses Zanzibar"s water management challenges through technical cooperation focusing on strengthening governance, building capacity and refining technical solutions. A primary goal is to create sustainable structures for integrated water and wastewater management, fostering climate resilience and gender equality in water security efforts. This initiative supports Zanzibar"s Vision 2050 for sustainable development, especially within its blue economy strategy.
