Tender Details
The German Sustainability Code (DNK) was developed by the Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) in 2011 and implemented as a voluntary instrument for disclosing corporate sustainability performance. In addition to being used as a reporting standard, the DNK is particularly used by small and medium-sized companiesen companies (SMEs) are currently used by over 1, 200 user companies to set up their own sustainability management. In January 2023, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) significantly expanded requirements in the context of sustainability reportingg adopted by the EU. The CSRD requirements are specified in the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The CSRD is accompanied by a significant expansion of the content to be reported by companies. Due to the extensive legal requirements, belowcompanies, especially SMEs, face major challenges and need support in implementing reporting obligations.
The current DNK structure already offers support for companies.
