Tender Details

The E-WMSA project, is executed by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Royal Irrigation Department (RID) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), aims to enhance climate resilience in Thailand through three main outputs: improved climate information and coordination, enhanced water management by Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA) measures, and reduce volatility of agriculture livelihoods. Within Output 2, GIZ has been commissioned by UNDP as Responsible Party for activity 2.2, in a joint task, where RID does the actual implementation of EbA measures, and GIZ supports the identification, detailed design, training, monitoring, and policy integration of EbA measures, in order to support RID and local communities in adapting water management in response to extreme droughts and floods. To support GIZ in its tasks, GIZ seeks for contractual service to provide technical inputs to a capacity building program, actual design, and technical guidance on 3 EbA measures (contributing to 5 infrastructures as planned by RID. GIZ developed THREE components and accompanied by specific indicators.
